putting this on here in case any of those reading this thread know of someone who has been abused, or if someone who has been abused, need it - this is an excellent organisation which helps adults who were abused when they were children

Please can I ask you to remember that not all abuse is sexual and I belteve this site will support those who have suffered any abuse in childhood.

you could well be right - I am only aware of regarding sexual abuse

Very timely information Ann ... I expect recent discoveries/revelations have stirred up uncomfortable memories for a lot of people that they have been unable to discuss before but may now find the need to unburden themselves with people who understand

that's what I was thinking - my family is at a bad place at the moment, that's why I put the website up for others if they need it
