Oh that's awful, poor Jean. It's ridiculous that we can't always rely on nurses getting things right, how dangerous that mistake could have been.

Glad she's home again and hope she will start to feel stronger soon. Will they still be moving to a home soon?

Please wish Jean all the best when you talk to her again, Jude.

A quick update of Auntie Jean.....

Jean got back home on Monday afternoon. Vic called in to deliver some bits and there she was in the lounge:).....
..........BUT when l phoned Phil this morning she had just gone back to hospital, the d/nurse had given her the wrong insulin and far too much!!!!!!! As you can imagine he was quite upset.
But...she's home again now, l spoke with her about half hr ago:)...phewwww.

Take care

Not sure how I missed this before, but sad to hear Jean is in hospital and things are so difficult for her and Phil. Not the best Christmas for them but I hope the nursing home arrangements work out well and they are more comfortable there with less to worry about, and company around when they feel up to it.

All good wishes to them both and thanks Jude for the update.

Just spoken to Jean, she was waiting for the doc to call, they may be able to get into hospital today.

She's had 30 cards, she's so chuffed and all really chuffed with all your messages on here.

The general boards are important to Jean and loves joining in, but unable to even think of the computer at the moment.

Thanks everyone:)
