Well, I'm going right retro with me tea tonight.

I'm having Scampi, Chips, (oven chips, less fatening)and Peas, with a small Mason Plas, Tartare Sauce and a Lemon quarter, all served in a basket. Very 1970's, but will not bother with the Black Forest Gateau.
Memories, memories, of high living. Agh.

I am here for what it's worth.

Been at daughter's crimbo day, then we all went to sons for boxing day, he has a new toy - spit, so we had a whole lamb for 22 of us, it was rather good.

Was going to stay the night, but Christmas night the blow up bed deflated, OH had to pump up twice, so good excuse to come home and chill out.

Im here too. been at daughters since Xmas day cos OH wanted to go to midnight mass at our local RC Church, As he doesn't drive anymore then it was better we stayed at home and I took him to Church and picked him up later. WE married in the RC church but I am not a catholic and have not converted.

I do admire his commitment though and it is lovely to see he still wants/needs his faith in view of his present medical problems
