I have been trying to trace my Gt Grandmother's death. She was born in 1883, married 20/07/1903. Shewas also on the 1911 census with her husband Henry Linehan. The record of her death is really hard to find. Can anyone help please :)

Maybe? Not sure what names people went by in those days! She had my grandmother in 1921 and another daughter after that. I cannot find those because of census yet birth and marriage she went by rosetta???

Von Report 4 Jan 2013 20:40

Sorry Annette
Ignore that one.
No sign of a Rosetta could she be Rose.
Where was she living when she had the children?

Annette Report 4 Jan 2013 20:46

According to the 1911 census:
31 Pritchards Road
Bethnal Green.

She was wife of Henry Linehan had quite a few children but,
I cannot find out what happened to her?
It seems she disappearred

Von Report 4 Jan 2013 20:49

Do you have Henry's death certificate?
There is a possible in 1951?

Annette Report 4 Jan 2013 20:54

Nyx Report 4 Jan 2013 22:04

Annette you say that you can't open posts? do you mean this one?

I've not read through but seems possible that there is some duplicate info? best to stick to one board, and one thread if the same family is concerned.

NB to helpers, I am posting this on the other thread too.

Choccy Report 4 Jan 2013 22:09

this is your other thread -

You will need to get John and Martha's marriage certificate to find out his father's name and occupation. The witnesses might also be related to him, ie siblings, which would help to find him on census returns.

MarieCeleste Report 4 Jan 2013 22:16

Annette, if you' 're having trouble getting back to your posts just use the "My Threads" link on the left. That should hopefully help.

Annette Report 4 Jan 2013 22:38

MarieCeleste Report 4 Jan 2013 22:46

You' 'll be fine now :-)
