	I am sitting here waiting to hear from the out of hours nurse about coming to see to a by-passing catheter. How much more could you ask for in life?

	Well,they have not turned up. He is downstairs with a packet of Tena Ladies and I am not looking forward to tomorrow.

	His bedding,including the duvet,have been washed twice today and his entire set of clothes and sling once. It will all want doing again in the morning. The district nurses will have to be convinced tomorrow that they need to do something because we have given the catheter time to settle and he needs to be sorted by the time he goes to hospital on Thursday to have his eye done. There are things I need to find out about the anaesthetic on the day as well. I think I might just run away!

	Hasn't the nurse arrived yet? An album of old photo's, and postcards, more letters, and 2 lovely (rather tatty) home-made children's books, with lovely hand- drawn (1920ish) pictures. Don't recognise the name though - more research!! These came from my grans house. Have only looked through the boxes once, need to clear space in a spare bedroom for the cat-sitter. Off to Portugal by train on 31st. whisper My sister's booked a night in the Amadeus Hotel in Seville - on the way back. I hope it's a room with a balcony so I can have a real fag!!! Off to bed now - work in the morning :-(

	Poor you Sharron, all that laundry in weather like this! Hope you can get things sorted before the hospital visit, it's a disgrace to leave you in the lurch as the nurse has done. Lizx

	He must have been re-plumbed about the time you asked,Wend. I think there must have been a duff batch of catheters because the last one fell outand this one was dodgy. Then he reminded me to book the hairdresser,which I had already done.Also sorted out about whether he can eat on Thursday before his eye operation. Only have to book us all in to the carers lunch now. He won't let me forget that one. No peace for the wicked eh?
