I neither like beef or steak sausages, however I do enjoy a good pork sausage. I love blk pudding and the white, haslet, kidneys and liver.

I think i am getting Haslet mixed up with something else.

(Although my Mum did like Haslet)

Can't think of the name of it now.............it looked like a jigsaw puzzle. Bits of "meat?" dotted about in jelly.

*Faints*

Now I just love black pudding, even knowing what the main ingredient is ,
Wish they would make it without those lumps of fat in though. :-D

My Hubbyand his family are from Lincolnshire, so are big fans of Haslet. I find it quite tasty in small amounts, but it can be quite fatty. Haggis is something I really wouldn't fancy - with apologies to any Scots out there! :-D

Peronally speaking, I was never very keen on beef sausages - found them a bit strong tasting.
Nothing would surprise me about what they put in any of our foods these days! :-S

seem to be making a return to the super market fridge/freezers.

Probably because we have all but forgot about the BSE and CJD scares we had.
It makes you wonder if the beef sausages had Horse meat mixed in with the Beef. :-0
