Dear Chrissie

Hello

Your grandmother was indeed a wonderful age but it doesn't make the sadness or loss any less painful.

The picture of her is very beautiful.

I hope the memories your family have will bring you comfort.

Take very gentle care
Sincere wishes,
Elizabeth, EOS

So sorry to read your sad news Chrissie.

Your picture of your lovely Nan reminds me so much of my mum.

What treasured memories you must have of Nan and I'm sure she was comforted by knowing how much she was loved.

So sorry to hear about your Nan but weren't you lucky to have had her for so long. My maternal grandparents died long before I was born and I was four when the paternal ones died so I never really had anyone like your Nan. God Bless her, may she Rest in Peace with the Angels.

So sorry to read this news, how lucky you were to have such a wonderful Nan in your life for so long. May she rest in peace now, life's work certainly well done.

I only had one Grandmother alive and she lived too far away from us to know well, I suppose I only saw her a dozen times in my life, she died in 1974 and we were never close.

Maybe when you are feeling stronger you can write down some of the tales your Nan told you, for posterity, to pass down the family. She must have been amazing to have lived to such a good age and will have left her footprints on many hearts.

Quite agree Jude. It's so nice to hear some one say I love you.

I recall during one visit, I bent down to kiss her goodbye and she said, "I love you duck" I knew it was said so genuinely, it meant everything.
