I'll look out before I have mid-morning coffee today

PS ~ see my thread about bananas

Your post started off so well Scozz - 11am coffee.....on the deck - looking at the ocean.

It sounds like bliss and something I would love to do as 11am coffee time is my very favourite time of day.

I could almost hear the waves.........feel the gentle breeze........smell the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee.....

and then you go and ruin my illusion with that flippin' water dragon bit!! :-0 :-D

LadyScozz Report 11 Feb 2013 00:44

I forgot to mention........

water dragons eat their young

Some info on this site:

There are also a few postings on YouTube.

It says that water dragons are 80-90cm in length. Ha! They should see grandad in our back garden. I thought he was a juvenile crocodile.

I had my coffee on the deck....... he'd gone. He must have climbed a tree, because our block is steep, the back of the house is 3 stories high. I didn't know they could fly :-D

OH tossed some watermelon rind to them a while ago..... grandad chomped through it verrrrrrrrrry quickly!

KempinaPartyhat Report 11 Feb 2013 00:16

do you still have your mug in hand ??

I should sip some of its contents and open the door slowly checking that you keep mug with you at all times ..............

I,m sure it just wishes to join you for a nice cuppa!

LadyScozz Report 11 Feb 2013 00:12

I usually have mine on the deck, looking at the ocean :-D

Mug in hand, I opened the screen door........ and heard a weird noise :-(

There was a 1 metre long water dragon on the deck :-0

I closed the door.

It ran around like a mad thing, trying to get away....... through the "bistro blind".

It's now I brave enough to see if it's gone?

They're not aggressive, but will bite if cornered
