Your post started off so well Scozz - 11am coffee.....on the deck - looking at the ocean.


It sounds like bliss and something I would love to do as 11am coffee time is my very favourite time of day.


I could almost hear the waves.........feel the gentle breeze........smell the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee.....







and then you go and ruin my illusion with that flippin' water dragon bit!! :-0 :-D

There are also a few postings on YouTube.

It says that water dragons are 80-90cm in length. Ha! They should see grandad in our back garden. I thought he was a juvenile crocodile.

I had my coffee on the deck....... he'd gone. He must have climbed a tree, because our block is steep, the back of the house is 3 stories high. I didn't know they could fly :-D

OH tossed some watermelon rind to them a while ago..... grandad chomped through it verrrrrrrrrry quickly!

I usually have mine on the deck, looking at the ocean :-D

Mug in hand, I opened the screen door........ and heard a weird noise :-(

There was a 1 metre long water dragon on the deck :-0

I closed the door.

It ran around like a mad thing, trying to get away....... through the "bistro blind".

It's now 11.10.........am I brave enough to see if it's gone?

They're not aggressive, but will bite if cornered
