they probably had to get back to the secure unit before it shut for the night

Porkie_Pie Report 14 Feb 2013 11:21

I think the RRer was overwhelmed by the number of members supporting and re-posting that they simply could not cope with it and gave up

I've never known so many occur in such a short space of time

" I think reaction last night of so many may just have done the trick."

I doubt that very much. Malicious reporting has gone on for as long as there has been a report button. Unless you know differently.

SueMaid Report 14 Feb 2013 10:15

I wouldn't have thought the RR would give a fig about the reaction of the members on here tbh. More likely they got bored and toddled off to bed or to start their day if in a different time zone.

And if these reports are all overturned (as they should be) , the next time someone tries to do same thing, there will be loads of posters willing to put up reported posts as their OP until reporter again gets RSI.

Has anyone kept a record of the sequence of events last night.

As I remember Roy posted his joke last night at 2130 as "Joke, Don't Read if you're Easily Offended". That same joke kept appearing after that many times in its original form, but unless it was OP it was not rr'd. So it still exists on several threads in its original form.

At about the same time, the OP of the lovely thread "Gone, but not forgotten" was reported.

Then it was mayhem for an hour and a half till, as Roy has said, reporter probably got repetitive strain injury, and had to go to A & E to get a finger stool fitted.

Don't agree with TheBlackKnight that this had fed the reporter. I think reaction last night of so many may just have done the trick.

Just said it elsewhere.........GR will keep having to deal with this untiil they stop non paying members being able to RR....they hold the key to this........no one else.

Rumour has it that who ever RRed the post's last night has an urgent appointment at the doctors this morning

I believe it's Something to do with a repetitive strain injury

Roy :-D

well if you take a look you will see so many threads have been reported - and for no good reason either - it got quite ridiculous and I trust that whoever caused this mayhem gets thrown off the site

Stephen2009 Report 14 Feb 2013 09:01

They certainly don't need the kind on nonsense that was happening last night.

How can they treat our GENUINE complaints seriously when they get bombarded with items that are verging on the scale of idiocy. :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

The RR problem needs fixing.

I give my whole hearted sympathy to the GR Staff.

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 14 Feb 2013 08:46

Shouldn't take them too long though. And they can have a chuckle over their elevenses and a slice of Mississipi mud pie :-D ;-) Like we all did last night.

Apart from a couple of serious threads which may have been rr'd in error. :-0 :-0
