Thanks Ann, all I know is that her name was Elizabeth Hale, born c. 1811 in Lisbon Portugal. I know all about her after 1835, but nothing before. |

My 3 x great Grandmother was born in Lisbon Portugal, c. 1811. She married in London in 1835, and in all the census' it states where , she was born, and says she was a British Subject. It has been suggested before, that perhaps her father was serving in the army in Portugal at the time of her birth, hence her being born there. |
