I thought the lad who plays Max was really good tonight. His speech was a bit of a tear jerker, otherwise they didn't make it too morbid.
At least they are giving Gemma a few better speeches without her whining.

Next we will have Stud Steve, he maybe just
has to look at them and they get pregnant.
Been awhile since we have had characters turning
up with new heads.

It was a one off Ann, but we didn't know it was Steve, She opened the door and said something like 'Oh it is you' but we didn't see who it was. She was upset over something and he was split from Michelle at the time and I think they got drunk. (as you obviously do if you live there). I don't think she has had previous history with him and why he should go to see her I have no idea.

same here - I have no recollection of her sleeping with Steve

Did I miss a multitude of episodes where Leanne and Steve had some history together? :-S
Assuming he was that mystery visitor - why was he? and why was she so welcoming?

No, I don't care either - I like Leanne but this is such a far fetched and silly story line.

Do we care who Leanne is up the duff with? I certainly don't, the character is so bolshy I don't care what she does.

Agree Ann, acting has very much improved.

Yes continuing great acting from Jack Shepherd.
Even 'Simon' and 'Amy's' acting seems to have improved a bit at the moment.

had to laugh - Beth is contemplating plastic surgery and a name change because the lovely Craig went to the police :-D :-D

He added the P. in his name to differentiate between himself and the Wycliffe actor.

Good bit of acting all round. Methinks David is going to go off the rails again.

Jack P Sheppard

Was away for the weekend so just watched it recorded. Fantastic acting by all involved especially Paula and 'David'.Jack P Shepherd.

(edit Lol I was down the garden and remembered it was Jack, by the time I came back here Ann Cardiff had reminded me, so i have changed it).

Paula Lane said in an interview that she wanted to go and try her hand at acting other parts and she didn't mind being killed off as it was a great opportunity for acting and for being remembered doing it.

Very sad though and great little acting cameos from the two children.

Thought that also Joy, Responder team turned up first

Paula Lane (Kylie) came back after her first pregnancy though Ann, as many do. She's pretty close to her due date so great work from costume, props and cameras.
I'm a bit disappointed by her being killed off as her character had developed really well - and she's one of the few with good diction, I can't tell what some of the talentfree mumblers are saying half the time!
