Not sure, is Mary still with Norris?

Yes he pleased guilty and got, I think, community service and sign the register. He was sacked from Corrie before he even appeared in court. obviously guilty until found guilty, or maybe he had admitted it to them. I think he also has to go on some alcohol course as he was drunk when he offended.

Perhaps Roy damaged a kidney in the fall and won't be able to donate?

I find Chesney and Fizz so boring and am fed up with the Robert/Michelle and Steve/Tracey scenarios already.

I hadn't realised Todd won't be coming back and that the actor had pleaded guilty to his offences. I wonder if we'll see Summer again.

Where is Mary living now? I can't keep up! :-)

I can't remember now what it was called, but did you see the programme over Christmas with Michael Crawford advising actors on singing something they had always wanted to sing?

The girl who plays Bethany (Lucy somebody? Fallon?) won it singing Don't cry for me Argentina. She was really good, has a beautiful voice. Wouldn't be surprised if she eventually went into musicals.

I am confused Ann* with the Vicar too......he has been in hospital all that time, yet still have a perfectly trimmed beard!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Ooooh AnnG, I had not noticed that with Roy's back. Something is bound to go wrong.

The only thing that gives me any hope is Craig and Bethany..

I would like an end to the Phelan saga, I did read he was going to kill again. which is why he has set Seb up.

There was quite a bit of explanation of what is involved when Roy asked the Doctor, however, I am wondering if the fall he had when the car swerved at him has affected one of his kidneys as he keeps holding his back.

Anyone else finding the storylines tedious?

Although I love the idea of Carla living with Roy. He will be her carer while she is unwell, and has found out about donating a kidney. I know nothing of the process, but I don't think it is that simple!

Don't care about Michelle and Robert. By the way has the actress had an enhancement? Don't care about Steve and Tracey, and don't care about Sinead and Chesney.

When is Eileen going to wake up from her coma? Phelan setting up Seb?

Please just let him get found out and have done with it!!!!

I have a feeling the banana may be a link. It could be a food allergy of some kind. And yes, Mary is definitely innocent

MotownGal Report 8 Dec 2017 16:25

Oh I love Mary, she is so funny, but she can act the socks of some of the others.

Lovely to see Norris defending Mary.

I wonder if Mary's daughter in law might be doing something to George without realising it. Or maybe he has some undiagnosed condition. Cos I certainly believe Mary is innocent.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 7 Dec 2017 17:10

However, Mary's almost monologue last night was beautifully acted. This has given her the opportunity to show she can act. She is great at comedy but also at the heavier stuff.

Baby George and Banana gate is a awful story line :-( :-(

Are these storylines getting more ridiculous by the day?

Michelle wanting to see Roberts scar?

I don't believe for one minute that Gary is dead. That story has more holes than a sieve. David will spill the beans to Sarah, and then Gary will walk in.

Phelan's deception will no doubt come to a head over Christmas and Eileen will burn the turkey!

:-D :-D :-D :-D

For a moment (only a moment I might add), Phelan had me convinced. Where did he get the money from? Was it Vinny's, sometimes I think I blink and miss a week's worth of goings on.

The Billy story seems unnecessary, can't even soapland have one almost normal person in it.

Colin and Moira, I have to admit, made me chuckle a bit, probably a good comic pairing. Unlike Dev and Gina, another unnecessary story.

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 25 Nov 2017 13:33

Oh dear, it is all getting a bit silly isn't it?

Billy is an ex-con! :-D :-D

I cannot for the life of me see why Robert would tell everyone he has testicular cancer. Is nothing private? Michelle goading him into it. I wonder if she would be so keen to share her own medical problems.

Sean working as a receptionist in the Doctors, asking for gossip!

And as for Phelan. Was there ever such a pantomime villain? He is really turning the screws on Anna. Blimey her Gary is potent isn't he? Just the once and he gets girlies in the family way.

Its all gonna come together at Christmas I fear. Just the time for a bit of cheer!!

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I too remember watching it when I was at school in black and white. Pompous Annie Walker, and long suffering Jack.

Elsie shouting at Dennis for being work-shy, and snobbish Ken.

Didn't Gail have a murderous husband at one point? She has had every other kind!

:-D :-D

I have watched Corrie since the early days I remember Annie Walker Martha ..Elsie Tanner ..it will move on but the stories with the Murders & affairs just seem to far fetched for me .do the writers of Emmerdale & Corrie meet up as some stories are just similar Emma being murdered . oh well see if evil Phelan gets caught out .probably big story for Christmas :-|

MotownGal Report 29 Oct 2017 09:57

It was only dopey Rosie that saw Phelan, in between filing her nails. She has probably forgotten by now!

Is Phelan setting Anna up for a break-in or something. Very convoluted, and I am not sure that I care that much!

Too far fetched for my liking.
