Is anyone else having this problem?

When I find a result I cannot see the whole page, because the illustration at the bottom of the page covers up the information.

For example, look for someone's residence 1930 in the US; you will find the Head of the household, but everything else is covered up by the illustration.

I sent an email over the weekend, but haven't heard anything yet.

:-(

Seems ok.

There’s a black box towards the bottom right with full screen, rotate, invert etc, but it’s possible to click and drag the (1940) image to avoid it.

How can you see a 1930? When I clicked on the ‘image viewing options’, it said that it was available on Ancestry? Want to tell us which image you were looking at to see if we can replicate it?

Since the site is run by the LDS, they may only have skeleton support at the weekend and Easter Sunday. Perhaps you sent a message on your Saturday while it was already their Sunday!

DET. Are you getting your days mixed up. Or is it me? I know my daughter had just phoned me from Oz and it is Tuesday there :-S :-)

SueMaid Report 1 Apr 2013 10:11

No it isn't John - it's 8.10 Monday evening here.

JustJohn Report 1 Apr 2013 10:26

Sorry, Sue. She actually phoned late last night (nearly midnight our time) and it was Monday in Melbourne. For some reason I thought you were 22 hours ahead of us, not 10. :-D :-D

But she did mention 2 hours of sightseeing, then a sleep in hotel, then out in the evening to a show. All very confusing. Why don't you use GMT/BST :-S

For those States which have DST :-)

LadyScozz Report 2 Apr 2013 02:38

Allan, we are in NSW, a few kms south of the border with Qld.

We have daylight saving, Qld doesn't.

We are closer to Brisbane than Sydney! If we need to go shopping (other than supermarket) we have to go north. Tweed Heads is OK, but everything else is an hour behind us, including Gold Coast airport.

Allan Report 2 Apr 2013 09:06

And WA is a few years behind the rest of Oz.....and we don't have DST :-D

LadyScozz Report 2 Apr 2013 11:14

WA is a wee bit far for me to go shopping
