The lady in the post office thinks I look like Gloria Hunneyford. She really should go to Specsavers! Poor Gloria.Anyway, she's older than me.
When I was young, I was likened to Lulu; unfortunately she's aged somewhat better.( Botox!)

OH was once chased down a street in Liverpool, all the way to the train station because a group of teenagers waiting outside a theatre thought he was Peter Noone, of Herman's Hermits :-D :-D :-D

Then, in 2006, in Australia, he was told he looked like Harrison Ford



OH was wearing an Aussie hat at the time :-D :-D :-D

many many many years ago I was mistaken for Julian Cope. I was at a party and "chatting" to a young lady upstairs and a ladder appeared at the window. It was her friend who genuinely thought I was him.

I have been told I look like Petula Clarke, am not too sure about that, but I hope I look as good as she does when I am 81.

when I was a teenager an old man on the bus one morning said "You look just like Clara Bow" Never heard of her - asked Mum when I got home - Clara Bow, Hollywood film star - known as the "It Girl""

When I was a teenager and then young woman I was likened to Glynis Johns, it felt uncanny when I watched her in Miranda and a Danny Kaye film, then Mary Poppins as we both aged. She was a lot older than me "of course". Is she still alive? I haven't heard of her in years.

In my family tree search I have found a Jones connection which was also spelled as Johns, but nowhere near Wales (disappointed as my maiden name was Welsh.)

My daughter and granddaughter both think that I looked like Audrey Hepburn when I was younger...................flattery will get them everywhere!!! :-D

When we were selling our thatched cottage, at least three v viewers informed OH I was so like Isla St. Clair (- co presenter with Larry Grayson).

Somebody at school thought I looked like Benny Hill.

Lovely photo in Mirror today of Audrey Hepburn who died 20 years ago. Her son said she could never understand why people considered her attractive.

Glynis Johns will be 90 on 5th October. Father was 93 in 1992 when he died.

Not me but OH looked like Cliff Richard, people would comment all the time.
