When mom was in the nursing home she would hide all sorts of food in her handbag. We used to find pork chops, tomatoes, chips and toast were all stuffed in her bag if she didn't want to eat it. We used to buy handbags from charity shops and just throw the others away with the food. Mom would also say " I can't eat a lot but would wolf down a dessert or two in seconds. :-D |

Yeah, I know what you mean, Sharron! I always used to get "Eeh! I couldn't possibly eat all that, old people only have a little appetite, you know! Only to find a clean plate in double quick time. |

Most nights when he does still eat at home,Sausage Sandwich Man, rolls out to the kitchen to remind me that he wants "small". After all,the elderly only have small appetites. |
