Is this thread sponsored by Old Moore?

Just bought my copy and am looking through what will happen during rest of 2013. There will be fire from the east in September - so should at least be able to get BBQ out this year :-D :-D

Sharron Report 18 May 2013 12:27

Everybody would have the"arnamick" hanging on a piece of string by a hole made in it's corner, next to the fire to be consulted for important information like the dates of fairs.Wheat all had to be in by Sloe Fair and some things,I can't remember what, had to be planted by the shortest day, broad beans maybe.

Even if the royal child is called Beyonce it may not be caled that as a monarch. EdwardVlll was David and George Vl was Bertie.

Hurray John you realise your error.I knew she was a Keppel as well and related to the Egghead one,who I find is a bit too ..plum in mouth...rather have Camilla.

Think she had a rough time and they should have let her marry Charles in the first place.

McAlp Report 18 May 2013 10:39

Alice Keppel, royal mistress to Edward VII, great grandmother of Duchess of Cornwall

;-)

JustJohn Report 18 May 2013 10:29

AnnC. Yes, realise my error. Grovel, grovel. Have just wickied and she is a good Scottish Shand.

Also found out she is a Keppel :-D Just like the lovely regal lady on Eggheads though, who I would vote in as Queen any day there was a vacancy :-)

and you realise now John, that Camilla is not an American divorcee?

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 18 May 2013 10:14

Am off to put my Betfred bet on Princess Mona at 1000/1. Wills and Kate like and admire the Beckhams - and I expect baby was conceived in Anglesey (Mona). And Princess Aberffraw is too much of a mouthful :-) :-)

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 18 May 2013 10:05

Just checked Betfred odds this morning:

Alexandra 6/4
Elizabeth 11/2
Diana 6/1
Victoria 7/1

Lowest priced boy's name is George at 16/1 followed by John at 25/1

And, if you like an outsider, at 500/1 are Elvis, Wayne, Jahmene and Fergie ;-)

Stray, it's a lack of morals that got them on the throne in the first place.

BrendafromWales

BrendafromWales Report 18 May 2013 09:57

Camilla...an American divorcee??....think John is getting mixed up with Edward V111.
Have heard that they know she's having a boy??
Maybe we will have to wait and see!!

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 18 May 2013 09:56

Stray, in old days we would both be headless by now :-)

I thought the name of this little girl had been widely touted already. Name will eventually sound very like wife of King Edward VII :-S

StrayKitten

StrayKitten Report 18 May 2013 09:52

William Hayley..............I love it !!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

JustJohn

Charles is first in line. But he has married an American divorcee, talks to trees and is past retirement age for a civil servant. So in the very sad event of Queen's death, I suspect there will be a Prince Regent pro tem till Wills feels ready to take on the mantle.

I believe Prince Philip may be expected to take on that role. :-) ;-)

Island Report 18 May 2013 09:29

Don't forget William Hayley.

Now there's a good name - William Hayley - would suit either. Sorted :-D
