we also have those signs ........

........ only ours are HUGE ones, at least 4' x 4', and we have to thank the government (provincial) for spending our money to improve the road.


I think the best one I've seen here said to expect delays until September 2012 ..................... I saw it in June 2010


sure enough ............... the road was completed between early September and early October 2012


we drive that road 8 to 10 times a year from about May to October.


I'm sure there will be another sign on another section when we go up in the next 3 or 4 weeks :-D

Sylvia it also reminded me of the roadsign you see in the UK all the time when roadworks are being carried out.

"Roadworks ahead. Delays possible until October"

I must ring home and say I will be very very very late for dinner then.

i had quite the laugh when I saw that notice.


The site was back up before 1:00 am ....... so it was off for a bit less than an hour

I will leave you to draw your own conclusions but I found the date and the comment absolutely hilarious. Obviously a hitherto unused interpretation of the phrase "back very shortly".

It's a little bit like shops that put up a sign saying "back in 20 minutes". When did they put the sign up? lmao
