Surely my hubby cannot be unique? You would not believe the saga we have when it comes to buying trousers/jeans. He is 5'10, waist 34' leg 32' yet every pair of pants he's ever owned has acres of material loose around the backside, especially after a few wears!... even so called slim fit. Aside from getting a pair bespoke, does anyone have any suggestions or similiar expierences please.

Had major problems getting Jeans for ex hubby years ago

He was a 32 waist with a 36 leg - and when I asked for this combo was always presents with 36/32 wrong way round. The only maker which actually produced his size was Lee and they were fine.

Mersey when I read your post I was instantly reminded of a Kenny Everett sketch parodying Rod Stewart:-

Perhaps trousers similar to these are the answer LOL

Have you tried the boys' department? I don't know about other makes, but M & S do teenage sizes up to 36" waist and 32" inside leg and they might have less material round the hips.

My hubby too has no butt, when he was younger he had his suits made to measure at the Co Op tailors .

He stil has no butt but does have a BIG. Belly so needs to get the waist size to fit But there's way too much material on the butt and once they have been worn a bit he looks like a sack of potatoes tied up in the middle with loose material at the back.
His trousers really need tailoring but I ,m past doing those jobs .

Feminine dress offers a challenging mixture of invitations & impediments. Men's atire does the opposite.

Blessed is the husband who can laugh at himself, he will never cease to be amused.

My hubby can sympathise with yours, Haribo - he has no bum whatsoever! He's not skinny, having a 38 waist, but I think he's fairly average. Why don't trouser manufacturers realise that men rarely have big bums? Maybe they are designed by women. :-(

As a slight variation on the above, when will designers realise that arm length doesn't change if you put on weight?

As a slim teenager, my sleeves were just the right length, but as a pensioner several sizes bigger, they are always far too long.
