Ohh I know Macaroon Bars Got to be in the top ten for Scots anyway .... and maybe Tablet (just made some ) .....No wonder we Scots have a record of the worst heart problems in the world :-0 ......but I still like it :-P

sell for funds for hospital. Make a mean Clootie Dumpling :-D

Hello fellow foodies :-) I really fancy a Tunnocks wafer after reading this thread but sadly have none :-( :-(
I love watermelon, but only got galia :-(
And I really wish I had bought the HUGE pack of marshmallows I walked away from today :-(
But I have got some oatcakes - lucky lucky me :-D

Btw, I did have lunch out today and then later we sat by the river eating ice cream so am not feeling too hard done by :-D

Also beetroot is good for losing weight apparently. So a dish including beetroot and water melon should have us all sylph like :-)

Ordered something different for a Chinese the other night. Salt and chilli king prawns. I have had them twice since and must admit I am a bit addicted. Bit worried about my weight, but perhaps if I had a starter of water melon.......... :-) :-)

Tetley's bitter and tea-cake sounds like a good combination!

Kumquats are my thing at the moment.

I don't eat kiwi fruit anymore because I can't eat one and I end up with a very sore tongue.

Speaking of salads a number of years ago a cousin and wife came to visit my Mum who was staying with us and I put on a salad for lunch , cooked a lovely roast the night before to have it cold ...really tasted nice, pinched a bit ... anyway had our meal and a lovely afternoon waved them off when they left, came in to start tidying up ...opened the fridge and there was the roast still on the plate all we had had was salad ...how embarrassing I never got over that. :-|
