Thank goodness he lost his appeal.

He now should be put in a cell with only an iron bed frame.Mattress if he is lucky and nothing else.

Then if he refuses food let him starve but give him water until he is dead.

Then put his body into Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic soda) and leave it..

Too true Kay. Don't know why we give him media space. He should just be forgotten and when his soul does eventually go to hell, his body should be thrown in a cesspit.

I am so pleased hes lost any rights to have any control over his fate or the system that said he would serve life till his natural death.

His latest speech will sicken the nation.

The longer he stays alive the more he suffers. I hope he lives to over 100.
His partner Myra Hindley was never a happy woman despite the efforts of misguided do-gooders like the pathetic Lord Longford. Death was too good for her and it would be too good for Brady, let him live with a tube stuffed up his nose for ever.

Who cares where he is or if hes mad or not ...its still costing the tax payers thousands to keep him alive ....

It is no more than he deserves. Reading his comments about his horrific crimes and how trivial they were to his warped mind made me feel sick.

If he really wanted to starve himself he wouldn't be eating toast and making himself soup - and he'd whip that feeding tube out.

I was pleased to see narcissism mentioned with regard to his character because it has brought a little more notice to what is evidently a more common personality disorder than is generally accepted.

It is just this, a personality disorder, not a personal choice. As you know, I have been the victim of a person suffering from this very disorder and my opinion is that it should be better recognized by society who could then take the necessary precautions to protect individuals, including their children and potential children from these badly damaged people.

Life should mean Life not bleddy 15 yrs..murderers should bein the Nick until they die without any privileges..ie no tv,cd players,dvd players or carpets on the floor.

Maybe he should be kept alive against his will as he clearly hates it.

A bit of suffering for him is nothing compared to the agony he caused his victims and their loved ones.

I agree Rollo, life sentences should be given to all murderers and they should stay behind bars until they die.

That is the whole point.

That said the man is fairly obviously insane to the point that I am surprised his application is being heard. If he were to be transferred to an ordinary jail he would not last long in any case whatever the security.

I thought his remarks that his crimes were "trivial" suggests he has not really got sufficient grip on reality to be considered sane. The path to redemption must start with an understanding and acceptance of the wrong done. Ian Brody is far from that.

As to murderers in general I cannot see any obvious moral reason why they should be released though it does save the tax payer money. Neither can I see gradations in the degree of murder. Dead is dead.

It is strange that over the years sentences for all manner of crime have been gradually increased so that they are on average twice those prevailing in the EU at great cost to the public purse and little effect on crime. The puzzling exception is murder.

The prison/hospital staff shouldn't have had to force feed him..they should have let him starve to death.
And we would have had to pay less money to keep him in there and for the staff to look after him.

Every time he hits the headlines he causes nothing but grief, torment, and distress for the families of those he murdered, he is sick in the head and evil, so keep force feeding him - but feed cyanide down the tube.
