Attachments to messages

GR allow 15 Mb for attachments to one message.
I've tried a few times but I can attach only ONE to a message when I thought I had attached three.

What am I missing, please? Is it only meant to be one attachment? Description doesn't read that way.

Thanks - before I go crazy (nearly there!)

Site is soooo SLOWWWWW today. Grrrr. (not GR!)

Barry it does say 15MB total per message and 3MB max per individual file but every time you try to add additional files it kicks off the preceding one. Either I am missing something or it is another example of bad scripting.

Glad you see it and read it the same as me, Errol!
Yes, it just kicks the preceding attachment into touch. Arrrgh!\

Bad scripting or GR not understanding how their won site works!
Better not try and answer that one!
Very frustrating, though.

Thanks for your input, Errol.

No worries - and my lips are sealed over scripting etc.

Mind you, I prefer to send attachments through more secure means anyway or, if it is something that several people may wish to access, then use cloud storage.

Exactly Rollo - use cloud storage of some description or similar.

When the facility first appeared, you *could* attach up to 3 docs etc. Then one day, all of a sudden, it changed to only one :-(

For me, it seems to let me add several attachments if I'm the one starting the message. Once I've chosen one file, it will give me the option

What can I attach? Add more attachments

If I click on 'Add more attachments' it lets me browse for another file and add it, and so on.

(I usually stop at a max of 4 or 5, in case Genes does decide to drop them)

If I'm replying to a message, or it's an ongoing message exchange, it only allows me the one attachment per reply, whatever the size.

Weird. Frustrating. :-(

You're absolutely right, Kucinta!

If I create a new message the system allows me to append at least four attachments before I stopped. At least it did allow more than one attachment as a new message!

If I tried to send attachment as a reply - only one can I attach.
As you say....weird and frustrating!

Again, very well spotted indeed.

Who would have thought this daft difference would occur?
(Such a silly question whenever GR is concerned!!)
