MGB makes them sound so sexy, Allan. We put our rubbish in thick black plastic bin liners. TBPBLs. Make that sound (or smell) good, if you can :-) :-) ;-)

John for both rubbish and recycling we use the wheely bins. They are normally of 240 litre capacity although you can get 120 litre sized ones.

The bins have different coloured lids to distinguish them. The refuse is collected weekly and the recycling fortnightly.

As the bins have to be placed on the edge of the kerb prior to 6.00am they reminded me of a column of soldiers marching along, especially in the dark.

I have found myself saying good morning to them when it has been very foggy and I've mistaken them for another idio....sorry, early morning walker (and there are one or two)
