Just seen Carole and Mike nipping in to see their new Grandson :-D

They must be excited to see their new Grandson, I remember how happy my Parents and in laws were when my eldest was born and the first grandchild on both sides. :-D

2.pm the 21-gun salute to mark the royal birth.
Carole and Michael Middleton are the very first guests to visit Kate and William in hospital, they arrived by taxi - they obviously are not leaving in a taxi.

Touching that New Zealand was one of the first Commonwealth countries to mark the birth of the Royal baby today with a 21-gun salute.

:-D

Ta for the correction: 41-gun salute in Green Park and 62-gun salute at the Tower of London, both at 2pm.

It was a 62 gun salute by the Royal Artillery Company that was fired today to mark the birth of the new Prince.

I think that New Zealand was probably one of the first because they are eleven hours ahead of us. I see that the Middletons both arrived and left by taxi - very down to earth.

How much longer do we have to wait we are told 5 mins. The whole world is waiting. Helicopters buzzing over my head - round and round they are going - the noise can do ones head in.......

Tension mounting - Royal protection officer has just come out and gone in again...

Helicopters the noise is deafening there must be more than one going round

Brought tears to my eyes - how wonderful William talking to the press - so relaxed.
Worth the wait to see him <3 <3

Now William is driving himself to Kensington Palace - what a historic day.
