Lovely that they could have a cuddle with Katie and I hope things get even better for them all soon.

Glad little Esme is still fighting on too and hope her feeding problems can be solved soon, don't seem to be holding her back too much anyway.

Aww Brenda, it is so sad. Katie must be strong to have come this far and she is still fighting. I admire her mummy for staying so positive. Hopefully America will have more information on Pig and further treatment can be given. She looks a lovely baby in your picture. Wishing for all the best for Katie. Love to all the family <3 <3 <3 <3

This is her side of message.I do admire her for being so positive .encouraging hem to stay strong!

Ok she went grey before with blue lips but she has now gone to original colour took time but she got there doctors were meant to have meeting today with us but more info due bk hopefully tomoz if not nxt week also America research due nxt week also xx
They're saying there's not much hope, but I believe there is.

Doctors are saying as they do not av much info on pig and the other diseases and the treatment used to cure it is already given and not working they say xx

They think she will need long time ventilation or the worst but I've seen an improvement in her since birth so I think they need to research harder xx

Not going to give up ever. xx

My heart goes out to them....it's so hard.

That was very interesting Brenda, and it does sound like Katie's symptoms. Having a diagnosis is half the battle and I hope the doctors can now help Katie more. Glad she is interested in things around her and I am sure she is determined and a fighter and will get stronger as time goes on.

Special thoughts for little Esme as well and all the parents and families of these little fighters.

Brenda, an interesting link. I have never heard of Pig before so hoping this new information will help the doctors to take good care of your gt granddaughter..... what a little cutie Katie is.

Linda, hoping and praying that your granddaughter continues to improve.

Gentle hugs to both families today XX XX
