How kind of your friend to pick up the jars for you. Hope the chutney is nice and the frozen trial works out.

You can always ask on gumtree etc for jars and such, it's amazing what people have hoarded up lol

:-D :-D Hello Ladies :-D :-D

I made several phone calls in my search for jars but they needed them. I had filled 2 of my jars and heard a knock on door, it was one of the people I rang with box in hand. She had popped to the charity shop and they had loads, so I know where to go if I need any more.

Panic Over, I'm going to freeze a small container just to see how it turns out.

I have about 8lb of chutney simmering away and I can only find 3 flipping jars, I was wondering would anyone know if you can freeze chutney????
