The Shaw/Bonson boy on FreeBMD is plain Joseph, with two elder sisters.

You can easily check for yourself, to see if the girls' names ring a bell.

Not sure about the children it's possible, I know there were Sam Joseph and 2 girls together, as shaw but don't know of anymore

Do you know the forenames of any of Hilda's children, to compare with the three Shaw/Bonson births on FreeBMD, or is the Samuel Shaw that Rose found, Hilda's child to your knowledge?

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 3 Oct 2014 22:20

Bonson is quite close to Bonsall?

Did 'your' Hilda have the three children, two boys and a girl, born 1925-1933, that I mentioned previously could be found on Freebmd?

Vena

Vena Report 3 Oct 2014 22:17

Thankyou, rambling rose, unsure of anything about her, fisher could have been her maiden name, we were however led to believe she was a bonsall and her husband(fisher) went to ww1 and died in action,

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 3 Oct 2014 22:15

There are three SHAW children with mother maiden name given as BONSON born in Chesterfield between 1925 and 1933, two girls and a boy.

I won't post them here as they may still be living, but you can find them on freebmd.

Edited as I put Fisher when It should have been Shaw.
