I have the full name and maiden name of my grandmother but not yet a date of birth, and I have the birth certificate of her daughter (my Mum). I know my mother had siblings and am keen to find out who they were.

	Hi Aiden As you know the Surname and Mother's maiden name.......... Check them out on this free site http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ Providing of course they were born in England or Wales?

So from what you're saying if I get a copy of the wedding certificate I might hopefully thereon find children from that marriage? (Sorry for not being au fait with the GR messaging process). Aidan

	Arthur and Margaret's marriage cert will give you details of their Fathers names and occupations. Including the age they were when they married, Arthur's occupation, where they were living at the time and the names of the witnesses. As I posted earlier..........there are 14 Lambert/Morris births registered between 1917 when Arthur and Margaret married and 1926 when you Mother was born. There are no births registered in Cardiff........and the only birth registered in Brentford is your Mother. Without purchasing copies of all the Lambert/ Morris births between 1917 and 1926, there is no way of knowing who their parents were.
