Had a result with my DNA and a relative. He is in USA and he gave me the name of his grandparents and I had his maternal grandfather already in my tree. His gt gt gt grandmother is my gt gt gt grandmother's sister so we share our gt gt gt gt grandparents. This proves my maternal grandmother's line to the late 1700s and proves I have his line correct as well :-D

It was lovely to have all that work confirmed as the Darbys (4th gt grandparents ) and their prodigy tried to populate Walsall all by themselves and run most of the pubs late Victorian times. :-0

OH arrived in Strood, Kent at a few weeks old having been born a cockney. He stayed in Strood until 16 then he joined the RAF. He cycled round Kent with a cycle club.

He was posted to Chatham for 3 years and we lived in the town. Where will you be going?
