	I remember Dad tell me during the war he wanted to join the RAF failed sight test.

	afternoon everyone :-D :-D My dad was in the Royal Navy during the war and was a stoker 1st Class <3 he was one of the lucky ones <3 just saying hope you are all tickety :-D :-D

	Wondered about that David. Dad joined the RN before WW2 and was on the Warspite as well as a couple of others right thro the war. Chatham was his 'home'.

	Joy, it is HMS Corvette Bluebell Pennant K80 It was a minesweeper. My uncle Ralph perished when it was torpedoed 17/2/1945 while escorting Russian convoys. He was a stoker.
