Maggie, they know what they are doing and I know point three of F all. It's a consultation.

They will also being taking a great deal of money from me so I would expect it to be one!

Apparently we will be discussing what thread they will use and what pattern and I will try to look intelligent throughout.

I think the monster is complete, at least I hope it is, and I have an appointment with the quilting people for a consultation next Thursday in Dorking.

Because I don't like the look of the parking there, I have kindly invited one of our old biddies to come as well. You know, the one with the blue badge!

Wishing a very happy Hip Hip Hooray Friday to all those who are celebrating it today.

I am having my own special day. Today, for me, is Monster's Bottom Day.

That huge patchwork I have been making since 1970 something became too large to negotiate on my lap. I lost my bearings with it and, not having a big enough floor space to lay it out for inspection, once I had it on the pub floor, I found I had made a strange point on the bottom where I thought I was doing a straight bottom edge.

So, I took the strange point off and turned it into a strip 2'x10' which was much easier to negotiate and which is being sewn on to the bottom of the monster patchwork today.

Nearly done now, spend the money, get it quilted, take to my bed under it!
