My OH put all her ancient noisy clockwork clocks forward
aaaaagh !!!!!

My digital devices did what was expected of them so when the Westminster chimes started I just burrowed nto the duvet. There is more room now that senior cat has gone over the rainbow but that hardly compensates.

I'd like to see BST the whole year around I hate the dark evenings November to end January tho' central London seems to be in a state of perpetual twilight the whole year around.

Well the cat started scratching at the bedroom door at 6.45 am
Thanks I thought there goes my extra hour in bed plus it's only 5.45 am :-|

So I got up as he wouldn't stop scratching only to find when I came down that the clock in the bedroom had automatically adjusted itself

He had let me sleep on even though it was over an hour from his usual feeding time

Still got all the other clocks to adjust though and I bet I forget one of them !!!

This process is a pain and should be abolished, not everything changes automatically.

Just off the top of my head I've got to change the heating timer, two car clocks, my watch, two cameras, a microwave, an oven, an immersion timer, a light time switch, bedroom alarm clock, and study clock.

Some countries have stopped doing it, we should follow suit ASAP, sticking to GMT which is the World base-line used in navigation.

One advantage of the clocks going Back; we won't get the same 'jet lag' effect as in the springtime Forward.

To set your clocks back tonight.

I don't want any of you to miss out on some much needed beauty sleep.
