Unfortunately they can never put the Genie back in the bottle. There are too many firearms in private hands.

Yes, we do have gun crime in the UK. However we rarely have mass shootings as in the US.

I think one shot back and possibly killed him.

the 'right to bear arms' is part of the 2nd Amendment

The thinking is if they have a gun on them, and they are shot at or held up etc. they can shoot back and the problem is solved.
I'm wondering how many people take their gun to church? or how many kindergarteners left their .44 at home that day they were all shoot. (sorry can't remember where that was)

But it is their right so who are we to jump on peoples rights :-P

There are people unsuitable to bear arms?

Evil strikes everywhere but it can strike a good bit harder armed with semi automatic weapons. Given the dolerous history of these events it is incredible that such weapons are still permitted. They are of no use for hunting or animal stock control. They are of no use for personal protection. They are good for mass murder though.

Yet the NRA still believe it's their 'right' to arm themselves.
What about the innocent victims of those unsuitable to 'bear arms'?

Evil strikes everywhere. So sad for all those families devastated by this terrible act. Rest in peace, all those lost.
