Not forgetting my mate who had a friend with a big-headed husband.

They had been to see them and the husband was sharing his superior knowledge as he always did. It seems he was lecturing on footwear that evening. It seems their son had been away camping with some organization and he wore his Dr Whites all week and didn't get one blister on his feet.

I think I may have told this before but a neighbour I had who would be about 115 now had a sister who would steal her clothes on occasion.

Well, my neighbour was out with her young man when they saw her sister across the road, wearing her hat. The young man, being a gentleman, went across and snatched the hat.

As he grabbed it from the smaller sister, the sanitary towel she had used to make the hat fit, fell out.

I heard of a girl who worked i the local Woolworths and had her first period while she was at work. The first aid lady gave her one of those big bulky jobs with the loops on.

Wondering why she had not returned to her counter, the first aid lady went into the first aid room only to find her lying on the bed with the sanitary towel soaked in water across her forehead and looped behind her ears to soothe the accompanying headache.

That reminds me of long ago when our daughter had several bouts of earache
I was given drops to put in her ears which i did diligently

She was abought 6 years old and was having another earache problem . I had put her to bed after putting the ear drops in she came downstairs with a sanitary pad over her head and looped to each ear
She thought the pad was an earache pad

My 2 year old grand daughter found one of my daughters (unused :-S) sanitary pads, took it to my daughter and said 'Here's your Splash pad'.
