My great grandmother lived on his estate in the Godstone district of Surrey. I have their 1939 Register entry, and know he moved there from Walton-on-Thames in 1913. He was not a knight in 1910. Is their a way of searching honours lists, or appointments to Kings Council?

Welcome to the Boards, John.

I'm assuming such appointments would appear in the London Gazette

Perhaps another, more experienced, member of these Boards could best advise on how to search the records
