Santa, who is sleeping in my bed again this year, does have to worry about postage.

OH is, at this very moment, yo-ho-hoing in a shopping centre in Havant, to earn the money for my Christmas present.

If the postage didn't cost a arm and a leg I would gladly give it to you, but alas with,

Pam expecting cards It is just to much postage. :-P

Keep me off the streets (now my back is not up to much!).

Once the quilt is on the bed, with it's variety of different things to look at, I thought it would give me and OH something to do in bed of a night!

Like a grown up version of that thing we used to do with four brads and a cotton reel.

I know what I want for Christmas.

Yesterday, being Black Friday, a company I have bought fabric for my patchwork from was offering weaving sticks in the sale.I didn't know what they were so I googled and found a company that offers them at much lower price and peg looms as well.

With these simple implements (remember who is thinking of using them!) you can weave old clothes and pieces of material or almost anything else, including bin bags, into mats and bags.

so, as well as the rag rug that does not fill me with the enthusiasm that patchwork does, I thought I might ask for a peg loom to use up all the old clothes I have not jettisoned and the bits left from the bedspread that are of no use for anything else.

As they it will all be recycled stuff, even if nobody will pay me for them, I am sure local charities might do better at selling them than will I.
