Somewhere there is nine pounds of mincemeat and some green tomato jam.

I knew where it was, or I thought I did, but it is not there now. Somebody doesn't know where it is and hasn't touched it which usually means he has put it somewhere and forgotten where.

Don't suppose you have seen it have you?

Could be buried in my cupboard but I doubt it if OH found chutney it would have been eaten. Are you sure that is not what has happened?

Not that much mincemeat, or jam come to that.

I don't usually bother to do chutney because we are addicted to Branston and it never gets eaten.

If the mincemeat doesn't come to light, some of it is in one of those big Lidl gherkin jars, he will have to have Branston pies this Christmas!

i ve got a frozen 1 kilo lump of Beef mincemeat in my freezer....
no jam though...
