Sorry I started this thread and then vanished. What with Christmas, the rubbish life throws at you when least expected and then daughter 'borrowing' my laptop for a while, I haven't been able to get back.

Looking at some of the comments I also joined when it was Genes Connected and free. The £5 fee was then brought in and it was a difficult decision as to stay or not but I did and have never left - just not posted.

I do recognise some names - La Gooner, Guinevere. AnninGlos, SylviainCanada, MildredHickinbottom and last but not least Dawnie and her 3 fairie/pumpkins/Easter Bunnies etc.

I am still doing my tree as every year more information becomes available on the web which is great especially for Ireland.

I did go to a couple of early meets, 1 in Webbs of Wychbold and the first London meet arranged for the late Gaynor.

Is Jude still on here?

It is a shame that some feel the site is not friendly but as with any group of people there will always be friendships, clashes, arguments, deep heated discussions etc. but it's all fun :-D
