We both had an advent calendar from our son and daughter in law. they (although we didn't know it) arrived in a large box almost a month ago with instructions not to open until 1 December.

OH's is 24 single shots of all different types of gin and mine is 24 small bottle (one shot in each) of all different malt whiskies. they are in rigidcardboard containers, each little bottle in its own slot but not dated and the containers stand up. Just have to find somewhere to stand them now. :-D :-D ;-) ;-)
