We were watching the programme about the Severn Bridge last night and the presenter was saying how difficult welding is and even had a go himself.

By the time I met OH, I was no longer a welder having ideas above my station by then,so he didn't know what it was about. I don't suppose I would have taken him to work with me anyway!

Don't know if he was impressed but he better had have been. I found that old habits die hard and, when they showed the man having a go, I automatically looked away when he struck. Wouldn't want arc eye when you are not being paid would you?
