I got mine through My Heritage.
I'm not a member, but have access to build a tree, and have notifications of others with similar DNA - ie my nephew and sister!
Not sure if I can contact the other notifications - they're as 'close' as 4th cousins twice removed- not sure I would gain much if I did contact them :-S

Benefits of DNA - had an email on Ancestry from what is now a 5th cousin and she has a Photo of my Grandparents (never seen them before) & Great Grandfather and a tree so i can compare my research with her family info. She also thinks she may have a picture of my father too - it would be nice to see what he looks like.

All his wives and family tore their photos up.

My husband had a couple of matches on his too -

I think its worth the money and will only get better in time.

Bit like Genes when it first started - use to get matches with peoples trees and a lot of help.
