I have read today that they were not prostitutes or call girls, and it implied Christine Keeler was a girl looking for a father figure to love. I think they were exploited by men older than them who should have known better. CK was very attractive.

Christine Keeler was very young and naïve - hence she took the brunt of the actions of Westminster 'gropers'.

Yes, I remember the scandal too. Mandy Rice-Davies was the other girl. I remember the photo of Christine sitting on a chair facing the wrong way that they always seemed to use when the affair was mentioned on TV.

To be honest I thought she was older.

I remember the Profumo affair and the scandal surrounding her and John Profumo and the sex parties he supposedly attended with her and a Mandy ???

He was married to actress Valerie Hobson and the scandal this revealed cost him his political career

Christine was said to suffer from COPD and was a big smoker as lots were before the effects of smoking to health was realised

To be honest I always thought they were call girls and knew what they were doing
If someone wanted to avail themselves of their services then they had to sure they could handle any fall out if the truth came out
