hi trying to find a divorce for my father and his first wife
Kathleen Hilda streeter and William leach where married in Tonbridge in 1948 i think i have found a second marriage for Kathleen to a earnest Clifton ? so there must be a divorce many thanks

The MC would say if a divorce had taken place, so that may be the best place to start.

Less than 0.02% of case files after 1937 have survived. See the following link which also tells you how to request a copy of a decree absolute. It won't give the 'grounds' for the divorce.
