Right, so this cat looks like he wants to move in, nobody has reported him to the local vet or cat rescue centre as missing. He is black and white and I have been trying to think what to call him, Minstrel, (new)Sprint, Domino.

Fred's mate is a Newcastle fan because somebody has to do the job. They play in black and white so we have been through Shearer, Beardsley, Nil (Newcastle Nil) and are currently trying Milburn for size, maybe call him W'or Jackie as well.

Do you mean Billy Whizz the comic character or Billy Quick the athlete?

Any Billy will do - but the food loving one was Billy Bunter.

Ah well, c'est la vie.

Neighbour has just sent me a message about a very similar cat that has been missing from Chichester since May.

Shame, but, if it is their cat, what a Christmas present for them and the cat.

...and it will go back to a loving home.

Shadow will have to pull his paw out now!!! :-D

Now wouldn't that be lovely if the 'new'cat was the missing one. Maybe it had hitched a ride from Chi!

Do keep us posted

Neither of them has been in tonight but I don't pretend to understand pussy politics.

A few years ago I had a little black cat follow me in one night. It tuned out that he had hopped into a van delivering furniture near Emsworth and hopped out whn it delivered something near here.

My wife has four. Alfie, Fluffy, Izzy and Scruffy. The last one replaced Fifi :-D

I am not consciously a cat lady but I do seem to have a whiff of catnip about me I think.

Don't even have a cat at the moment because the feral might stop calling if I get one deliberately.
