	We are more likely to be altruistic towards people who like our jokes. The deceased is unlikely to have complained. ;-)

	It was the village lunch today at the pub and we had crackers so all the great and the good of the village were wearing paper hats. Immediately after the lunch, many of them had to go to the church for the funeral of a quite prominent local gentleman. The wife of the man who is a sort of deputy vicar, went marching off to the funeral, still wearing a red paper crown. AND NOBODY THOUGHT TO TELL HER.
