I'm feeling a bit 'chuffed' at the moment

I'm going to visit my daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren on Saturday, for the day.
Daughter thought I may not go, as the little ones (nearly 3 and 3 months) have had 'lurgies' for the last 2 nights.
I just confirmed I WAS going (I have the train ticket), and my daughter told me, son in law, on hearing this said: 'Good, I relax him'!!

One very, happy Ma-in-Law :-D :-D :-D

Enjoy yourself Maggie, try to leave the lurgies with the family and don't take them back home!

Safe travelling,

Hopefully, as they evacuated from one end Wednesday night, and from the other, last night, they've got rid of it! :-S
I'm just so chuffed Paul doesn't think 'Oh the Ma-in-Law is coming - best behaviour needed, and a massive tidy up'!
He's a lovely boy anyway - I thought so even before he praised me! :-D

A man who will dress up as a woman (complete with high heels) to run along Brighton Beach to raise money for Women's Refuges, is a hero in my eyes. :-D

Ummm, I think I may have surpassed myself. :-0

Paul plays keyboards. In their last house, his keyboards were stacked away, through lack of room.
I walked in to the dining room, saw his keyboard and said 'Oooh Paul's got his organ out'. For some reason, they found this hilarious. :-(

Later on, after just one small glass of wine, I managed to walk into their closed patio doors :-|

How big was the glass?! :-)

Small - you know - average.
Not in the 'small' as in half bottle size :-D :-D :-D

Perhaps that's what your Granddad was doing in the photo.

I'm back now - had a lovely time, thank you :-D
The baby rarely cries! Her favourite 'place' is sleeping (tummy down) on anyone. :-D
Her big sister (still not well) managed to 'crash out' on Granny too :-D

I loved the way, when we adults were having a conversation, she would 'pick up' on a word - and wanted it explained to her! Amazing! :-D

Bless her, she sounds very bright despite still feeling poorly. I am glad you had a memorably enjoyable time, Maggie

I have done the patio door trick, without alcohol lol It hurts!

Yes - I don't think I'll live down the patio door :-(
Very strong glass, though :-D
