Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 27 Dec 2017 16:49

I spent Christmas at my daughters in Hawkinge near Folkestone in Kent

Was raining late evening and not nice. Grandson and his family battled over from Deal for Boxing Day and was nasty later when they went home

So this morning it was chucking it down, daughter said mum you dont have to go home but i have a delivery tomorrow and the cats needs feeding !!!
Granddaughter fed himfor me yesterday

Sooo even though it was still snowing it wasn't settling so I decided to brave it

Was a combination of snow and rain on the A2/M2 but I am home ok

Cat has made a big fuss of me , been out too and is now snoozing at my feet
Usually I get the cold shoulder that you have left me so not talking to you till I forgive you treatment but he is happy to see me and is happy to have lots of strokes and food

His bowls weren't empty but fresh ones seem to be better
;-) :-D

Went from Chelmsford to Clacton to visit my brother-in-law in a care home.
No particular problem getting there (some sleet and spray but nothing to worry about), took an hour as usual.
However, coming back, better conditions but the A12 kept coming to a halt for no visible reason and it took an hour and a half.
Bit of a puzzle.
