Hi Les

You are so naughty! I will get bigheaded lol

Good to read about your day out! Your family certainty keep you involved, and out and about!

Our Internet has been intermittent, such a nuisance as I keep missing emails or start replying and the link goes. I will try and call you during the week hopefully with better news of our Joy.

Tc, stay warm

Lizxx

I used to go for a couple of seasons when I was about 10, circa 1950. My team was Rayleigh Rockets and favourite rider was Jack Unstead, who was killed in a crash some years later. The team had to leave Rayleigh eventually and moved to Rye House.

Glad you had a wonderful day Les.

Keep warm it'll soon be spring. I know Oxfordshire can get very cold from my time at RAF Benson. :-D

Morning everybody....Any of you out there in "Chatland" been a Speedway fan???
Had a fantastic day out with youngest son last Sunday..Went to the Paradise Safari Park in Broxbourne Hertfordshire...It has the National Speedway Museum in it's folds...This year we celebrate 90 years of Speedway starting in UK...The museum had a special exhibition as part of the celebration..I have never seen so many Speedway bikes in one location...Even cycle speedway was represented..That brought back some hard memories...
A lot of us fans here in Oxfordshire keep hoping the Oxford Cheetahs will race again..Stadium and track are still there waiting for the roar of the bikes again....
NO BRAKES--NO GEARS--NO FEARS...
<3 <3 <3 to all.....Especially the beautiful Purple Diamond..A very important part of my life since I lost Audrey.....
