Hydrotherapy

Have found some old threads that mention hydrotherapy and am wondering if there are any members that have had this treatment recently.

I am having my first session next week and was told at the induction appointment that the pressure in the pool can make me feel unwell for quite a while after. :-(

I would be grateful to hear from anyone, either on here, or by a p.m if they have experienced this.

Thanks for reading.

All I know is that I was told by my physio some years ago that i was NEVER to have this, nor was I to go for exercise in a pool .............. apparently my spine is in too precarious a state (deterioration due to arthritis) and I could do damage if I tried either one.

Many thanks for your reply Sylvia. I too have a problem in my spine , bulging disc in lumbar region...... also osteoarthritis in left hip.. :-( Very nervous about starting the treatment.

Thanks again.
