THE ANTHEMS FOR THE SING-A-LONG

WALES ~ MAE HEN WLAD FY NHADAU (Match Version)

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Where the echoing cliffs resound in answer

WHAT DID THE PROFESSIONALS MAKE OF WALES’ VICTORY OVER TONGA?

MARTYN WILLIAMS MBE
(former Wales and British and Irish Lions international) .... “ALL BLACKS STANDARD!” “
“This is a really exciting time for the Welsh Team”
“WORLD CLASS – athletic, brave, technicality – a FULL HIT!”

PETER JACKSON (The Rugby Paper) .....
” Welsh talent coming out of everybody’s ears... never had stronger depth of squad”
“Wales were ruthless. Excellent in the way they kept smashing Tonga- ALL BLACK-LIKE in that respect!”

JONATHAN (Jiffy) DAVIES (Former Wales & Lions International; BBC Commentator)
“Sometimes 2nd Teams can be disjointed but a very good performance by everybody. Everybody did their job- individually and collectively. Great method, great purpose ! Great Test match!”

PHILIPPA TUTTIETT (Former Wales Women International 7s & 15s) .....
Philippa praised Wales’ counter-attacking, ball carrying and offloading. She praised the trust and awareness of the players, trust that “someone is going to be on the shoulder”. She also praised Wales’ work rate and the young teams hunger and passion to put their hands up.

Philippa Tuttiett is certainly right. Wales are definitely in a great position now with up-and-coming talented players! Everyone wants to be in the 1st Team and will be wanting to make sure they perform. Wales now have a real depth of talent which will come into it’s own for ROTATION OF SQUADS during the World Cup.

NOW WALES WILL TAKE ON SOUTH AFRICA AT 5.20pm TODAY!
