Mine was when I was about 3 my Dog had gone the farm
In fact when I was 15 they told me It had had a fit and died :-( :-(

Dermot Report 21 Oct 2018 20:16

I was told that I was found under a head of cabbage, wrapped in pink baby clothes.

Not sure what to believe any more!

I was told my favourite doll had been stapled together,(she was a bisque doll, and came apart at the 'seams') because I dropped her.
I was also told, my knitted dashchund had so many darns, because 'the moths got him'.

The truth came out when I was in my 50's. :-|

My brothers, 6 and 7 years older than me, used both these toys to practice 'drop kicks' :-P

Allan Report 21 Oct 2018 23:16

No they didn't :-(

Imagine, abandoned at the age of six!

However, I got my own back on them when I joined the Circus.

I started there as a human cannonball, but was eventually fired as they said I wasn't the right calibre. :-|
